Soups Recipe Journal

 

Here you can find recipes to various main dishes i've prepared in the past or have found to be unique in flavor and texture. Please enjoy what I have to offer at the moment. Later on in the future more will be added as I try more things. Remember that my recipes are not absolute and can be exchanged with other ingredients that are to your liking. Try experimenting a little.

 

Beef Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:

1 Pound Beef ( Shanks )
3 Cups Water
1 Tablespoon Salt
4 Whole Pepper Corns
1 Can Tomatoes
3 Beef Bouillon Cubes
2 Carrots ( Sliced )
1 Pack Frozen Vegetab1es ( Fresh Reccomended)
3 Stalks Celery w/ Tops
2 Onions ( Diced )
2 Potatoes ( Diced )

Preparation:

Crock Pot:

Put all ingredients into a crock-pot. Mix well before cooking to help evently cook the contents. Place on low heat and let cook for 10 - 20 hours depending on the crock pot. Higher heat can be used for less time cooking, but taste may not come out the same.

Stove Top:

Take all your ingredients and put into a soup pot. Let slowly simmer/cook on low heat. Let cook until prefferred texture and taste.
