Main Dish Recipe Journal

Here you can find recipes to various main dishes i've prepared in the past or have found to be unique in flavor and texture. Please enjoy what I have to offer at the moment. Later on in the future more will be added as I try more things. Remember that my recipes are not absolute and can be exchanged with other ingredients that are to your liking. Try experimenting a little.

Paparika Pork Chops

Ingredients:

4 Pork chops
1 Bell Pepper ( Sliced - Optional )
2 Potatoes ( Sliced )
P aprika
Sour Cream
1 Onion ( Sliced & Separated )
M ushrooms ( Sliced )
1 Clove Garlic ( Finely Chopped )
G round Black Pepper

Preparation:

Mix paparika with plenty of black pepper. Wash and clean your pork chops well, then coat with the paparika and pepper mix. Oil a fairly nice sized baking pan well enough to keep the pork chops from sticking to the surface if possible. Afterwards lay your vegetables and various other ingredients first on the surface of the pan and sprinkle with garlic and any other spices you may wish to add. Next lay your pork chops onto the vegetables/spices and put into the oven and cook for about 15 minutes on 375. Ovens may vary so adjusting the temperature may be required for your oven. After 15 minutes turn the pork chops over and cook for another 15 minutes.

Optional: After the last 15 minutes you may take your pork chops out and coat/place sour creme on the pork chops and cook for another 10 minutes in the oven.
