Ingredients:
¼ Cup Finely Chopped Onions
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
1/3 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs
1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
¼ Teaspoon Pepper
2 Tablespoons Chopped Green Chilies
Sauce Ingredients:
1 Can (15 ounce) No-Salt-Added Tomato Sauce
1 Tablespoon Minced Parsley
¼ Teaspoon Chili Powder
½ Teaspoon Sugar
¼ Teaspoon Salt (optional)
¼ Teaspoon Ground Cumin
Preparation:
In small skillet, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil
over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes. In medium mixing
bowl, add onion and garlic to remaining meatball ingredients.
Mix well. Shape into 36 meatballs. In medium skillet, cook meatballs
over medium heat until cooked through, stirring occasionally.
Drain. Add sauce ingredients. Stir. Heat until mixture bubbles;
cover. Reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. 6 servings.
